Microsoft Windows Operating System

Microsoft introduced a number of Window OS . Here is the Window Generations –

Windows 8 is the re imagining of Windows, This is the new 'desktop'. Well, there is no proper desktop in Windows 8. Instead, it has been replaced by a Home Screen, from where you can access you programs. Also, there are no icons. 

Microsoft Word     

The main topic was MS word. We had to improve our skills in MS word First our lecturer gave us a briefing about Ms word and then introduction to Ms word.After that we learnt about the features of Ms word. Then we learnt about the tool bars and how to use the tools.

As a overall we learnt how to use the graphs, drawing table, address bar, short cut keys and so many general things which will be helpful to do our word documents.At the end of the session I got a general knowledge about Ms word. Now I think I can work with Ms word better than before.

Week 6- session 1

The second session was mainly on Ms word Advanced or Advanced Microsoft word.There we learnt about the Styles and Templates. And also I got to know about creating Mail Merge Documents.Then the next topic was  working with Hyper-link. It was very interesting.At the end of the session we were given some practical to do with Ms word.

Week 6 session - 2

The 3rd session of the week was only to revise the lesions and we did many practicals in the lab with MS word.It helped me to  improve the practical side in Ms word. Now I think I have a good knowledge in Ms word and with its features.
