Week v

Features of Windows 7

The first lesson of the week was about the Anatomy of MS Windows operating system.
First we learnt the aims of windows 7. There our lecturer tough us the advantage of windows 7 and compare the performance with another OS.  After that we got knowledge about how windows 7 upgrades from Vista and XP.

Then we were thought the special performances which only have windows 7.Such as about the task bar libraries and gadgets. Finally we got to know about the system requirements for windows 7.
So at the end of the 1st session I have got a better knowledge about the windows 7 and its special features.

Week 5 - Session 1

The second session was about the MS windows file management. There we learnt how to manage the files and how to find files and folders using the search tool.

At the end of that session I just got an idea about how to use the search tool and manage it.

Week 5 - Session 2

The main topic was Special, system tools and accessories.

Here we learnt what is special folder such as application data, cookies, desktop directory, favourites  fonts, history and so on. Also we learnt about the virtual special folders like recycle bin, control panel, and so on.

After that we got to know about the disk cleaner and disk de fragmented also about the windows 7 advanced fragmentation then our lecturer gave some idea about system restore.

At the end of the session I gathered a knowledge overall on windows 7 and its features. It was very interesting, because I already knew about windows 7 but I could learn some more and importance
